Job Description • Coordinate and allocate qualified care staff to vacant shifts while ensuring continuity of service for aged care clients • Monitor rostering and staffing platforms, including Shiftmatch and other scheduling systems, to secure and fill shifts efficiently • Respond promptly to urgent staffing shortages and unexpected scheduling issues • Maintain regular communication with care staff, rostering managers, schedulers, and internal team members to ensure smooth operations • Update and maintain accurate workforce, client, and scheduling records within rostering software platforms • Ensure all handovers and shift information are communicated clearly and accurately • Identify and escalate potential compliance concerns or staffing issues to the Brisbane team for follow-up • Provide additional administrative and scheduling support as required by the allocations team Training Schedule: (most likely 2 weeks) Monday/Tue/Thu/Fri - 12:00pm - 5:00pm AEST Must Haves • Previous experience in aged care, healthcare, community services, rostering, scheduling, recruitment, or administration roles highly regarded • Strong ability to work in fast-paced environments with outcome-focused performance expectations • Excellent customer service and stakeholder communication skills across phone and email • High level of technical literacy and confidence using multiple systems simultaneously, including rostering and workforce management platforms • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands • Ability to problem-solve quickly and make confident decisions under pressure • High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and compliance standards • Relevant administration, business, or healthcare-related qualifications are advantageous but not essential Home Office Requirements Please only apply for this role if you have the following home office requirements: · Perfectly working headset and webcam · Stable internet connection of at least 25 Mbps ~ 50 Mbps · Up to date computer system with a minimum of Windows 10 or later and macOS Monterey (12.0) or later · Quiet room with no distractions or background noises · A backup plan if the power goes out or if your internet connection becomes unstable during your shift Only applicants meeting the strict criteria above will be contacted.
