Role Overview The SEO Manager will lead the development and execution of organic search strategies designed to drive scalable, long-term growth across global markets. This role requires a strong balance of technical SEO expertise, strategic planning, and close collaboration with content, development, and marketing teams. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive technical SEO audits, covering site performance, crawlability, indexing, and site architecture Own on-page optimisation initiatives, including metadata, internal linking, headers, and structured data Support keyword research, content planning, and search intent mapping Develop and manage link-building strategies to maintain a strong and healthy backlink profile Track and analyse organic performance using Google Search Console and leading SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush or equivalent) Provide strategic guidance on content optimisation to improve rankings and organic visibility Partner with developers to prioritise and implement technical SEO improvements Conduct competitor research, gap analysis, and identify emerging search trends Report on organic performance, visibility, and growth opportunities to stakeholders Requirements Strong expertise across technical, on-page, and off-page SEO Understanding of LLM optimisation, including GEO and AEO concepts Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and SEMrush Solid understanding of HTML, JavaScript, site speed optimisation, and structured data Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn large datasets into actionable insights Excellent writing skills for content optimisation and SEO briefs Working knowledge of UX, accessibility, and conversion rate optimisation principles Ability to collaborate effectively with developers using clear, structured technical recommendations Strong research, competitive analysis, and trend-forecasting capabilities Department Marketing Locations Kuala Lumpur Remote status Hybrid About Remote People We specialize in connecting forward-thinking companies with outstanding global talent.
