This is a high-autonomy role — you'll identify opportunities, produce the content, publish it, and track its performance. No handoffs. No heavy oversight. You own the full cycle. Responsibilities: Own the full content lifecycle: keyword research → writing → CMS publishing → performance tracking Develop and execute a scalable SEO-driven content strategy aligned with organizational goals Write high-quality content including blog articles, program pages, landing pages, and donor-facing narratives Translate complex humanitarian initiatives into clear, engaging, and emotionally compelling stories Apply SEO best practices to all content — keywords, structure, metadata, internal linking Continuously optimize existing content to improve visibility, engagement, and conversions Track performance using analytics tools and refine strategy based on data insights Stay current on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and generative search optimization (GEO) Collaborate with the communications team to ensure consistent brand voice and messaging Requirements: 4+ years of experience in content writing, content marketing, or SEO-driven writing Proven ability to produce high-quality written content with measurable performance outcomes Strong hands-on understanding of SEO fundamentals: keyword research, search intent, on-page optimization Experience publishing directly in a CMS platform (WordPress or similar) — not just writing, but building and publishing Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects without heavy oversight Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field (or equivalent experience) Software and Tools Used: CMS platforms (WordPress or similar) SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console) Analytics tools (Google Analytics or similar) Google Workspace / Microsoft Office
