Overview

A client in the Fund management sector has acquired a several businesses and is in the process of integrating those businesses into the organisation. The role of the Business Analyst is to engage with the acquired businesses IT departments with a view to defining the scope of which applications are required to be integrated.

The main tasks will be;

1. Analyse the IT landscape of the acquired businesses
2. Document the outcome
3. Work with the overall IT integration project team in identifying the integration scope
4. Work with the IT integration project team to plan the integration

Requirements of BA Role

1. Should have worked on projects in a large IT organisation previously
2. Is comfortable with IT concepts and terminology (Office 365, Azure, Data Centres, Business Applications)
3. Is comfortable working with a large group of disparate stakeholders, who have varying levels of commitment to the project outcome.
4. Will drive the definition of Business requirements and communicate these clearly to the relevant stakeholders
5. Will push for engagement of all concerned parties in reaching a conclusion to the Business IT discovery requirements
6. Will build relationships with key decision makers in the wider organisation
7. Will adjust to changing priorities and expectations as needed.
8. Will communicate the urgency of the task and escalate lack of engagement as required.
9. Is comfortable working independently and working out the steps required to achieve the project deliverables.

This role can be fully remote (Must be resident in the EU (and have valid work permit).

This will be a Day rate Contract (6 month rolling).

Fluent English (other European languages would be of benefit).
