Join one of the leading providers of commercial laundry services and air vending solutions across the U.S., Canada, and Europe! 🌍 The Functionary is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Tax Accounting professional with experience in Sales & Use Tax operations, reconciliations, reporting, and automation initiatives.

✨ WHAT YOU’LL DO ✨

🔹 Prepare and support U.S. Sales & Use Tax filings

🔹 Perform reconciliations, accrual reviews & variance analysis

🔹 Assist with month-end close and tax-related journal entries

🔹 Support tax audits, documentation, and compliance reporting

🔹 Collaborate with Accounting, IT, Billing & Operations teams

🔹 Help improve tax workflows, automation, and internal controls

🔹 Work with ERP systems and tax automation platforms

🔹 Mentor junior team members on tax processes and reporting

🎯 IDEAL PROFILE 🎯

✅ 3–5 years of experience in Tax Accounting or Indirect Tax Operations

✅ Experience with Sales & Use Tax compliance

✅ Strong Excel and reporting skills

✅ Experience performing reconciliations and financial analysis

✅ Familiarity with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 is a plus)

✅ Experience with Vertex, Avalara, or other tax automation tools is highly preferred

✅ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

🗓️ Schedule: Full-time availability required / exact schedule will be provided later in the process
