The Role

Our client is a London-based AI Drug Discovery company. You will be the first talent hire on the ground, working directly with the CEO and the wider team to build out their talent infrastructure and take ownership of all hiring end to end, including key leadership hiring mandates.

You will own

• Exec searches across AI, GTM, and drug development, including a COO
• The core hiring: ML, AI research and engineering, plus scientific roles as the company scales
• The full recruitment lifecycle, from kick-off to close
• The hiring foundations: process, tooling, pipelines and candidate experience, built by you from scratch

Essential Skills

• Proven experience hiring deep technical talent (ML, AI research, engineering) with the ability to calibrate quickly on a variety of new complex searches
• Experience running leadership-level searches
• Deep creative sourcing and pipeline building that doesn't begin and end with LinkedIn Recruiter
• A data-driven approach to hiring and managing stakeholders
• Comfort operating solo: you set your own priorities and own your outcomes
• Ability to operate at pace whilst balancing precision and quality
• You've operated in a fast-paced VC-backed tech environment where you have been the single point of failure, and can comfortably take ownership and accountability of all hiring outcomes
