As our wireless technologies continue to evolve, with multiple awards and funding secured for the next phase, we are seeking a talented **Senior Space Systems Engineer** to join our team. **Mission Design & Analysis** * Define operational and demo mission statements, including mission needs, expected performance, dependability, safety goals and operational constraints. * Develop functional specifications and maintain the System Requirements Document (SRD). * Analyze orbital effects, optimize orbits, and perform detailed mission analyses for constellation design. * Investigate launch opportunities and ensure compliance with regulations. **System Engineering & Subsystems** * Define subsystems specifications and basic design; produce system budgets (link, mass, power, etc.). * Design, develop, and simulate the space segment; interface with telecom and payload engineers. * Design and specify the ground segment and operations environment. * Conduct troubleshooting, performance analysis and optimization of space and ground systems. * Develop algorithms and interface systems with simulators. **Integration, Testing & Procurement** * Manage procurement processes and oversee AIT/AIV activities, qualification campaigns, and environmental tests. * Coordinate with satellite manufacturers, ground segment providers and external partners. * Participate in demo campaigns and interface with customers, research institutes and government agencies. **Project Management & Documentation** * Prepare project proposals, funding documents, contracts and bidding documents. * Maintain proper documentation of all technology developments. * Report on task follow-ups, manage risk registers and provide monthly progress updates. * Coordinate multi-partner inputs for mission execution and spacecraft procurement. * Minimum 7 years of experience in similar positions. * At least 1 year of experience with mechanical and/or electrical design of small satellite systems (industry or academia). * Experience with AIT/AIV processes for small satellite systems. * M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution. * Knowledge of ECSS standards, understanding of spacecraft operations and ground systems preferred. * Experience with CubeSat projects. * Demonstrated project management skills. * Self-starter with a sense of urgency and ability to adapt in an entrepreneurial environment. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. * Proficiency in English, both spoken and written. * Enjoy a 50% income tax exemption on your salary - an exceptional incentive for top talent relocating to Luxembourg, subject to eligibility conditions. * Hybrid working environment. * Opportunity to work on flagship EU space mission projects. * A dynamic, high-growth environment with career development opportunities. * Regular company events and team activities.
