Job Description Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities Administers the test planning strategy that consists of a comprehensive test plan that outlines the testing approach, coverage, and required resources. Analyzes the complexities of test metrics to assess the effectiveness and reliability of software testing systems. Applies in-depth knowledge of defect management systems in order to track, prioritize, and manage software defects. Communicates with developers, product managers, and business analysts to design a quality assurance system for software development professionals. Conducts routine quality assurance reviews to ensure test cases cover functional and non-functional aspects of the software. Configures tracking systems to monitor workflows and categorize issue types according to software project requirements. Coordinates the preparation and distribution of test reports and status updates for software projects. Designs a complex defect management system to ensure that defects are properly reported, assessed, and prioritized. Develops complex quality assurance strategies by combining engineering principles and quality control methodologies to enhance the overall testing approach. Education Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification. Prior Relevant Work Experience 3-5 years Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $79,310.00 - $158,620.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
