Modern Design Platform is looking for an A&D sales leader. Our world is modern design, upscale furnishings, imported from Europe. We are building a discovery-to-delivery infrastructure platform for hospitality, and Lifestyle FF&E projects, and the design community — connecting product discovery, specification, manufacturer coordination, project organization, procurement support, and delivery execution in a more structured way. Now we are ready to bring in the person who can help open the right doors in the A&D community. We are looking for a senior sales executive with a proven record of building trusted relationships with major architecture firms, interior design firms, hospitality design practices, and purchasing groups. The right person will work alongside our CCO who has extensive experience in the hospitality community. The right person has already sold upscale or luxury products into serious projects. You know how to speak with principals, design directors, project leads, and procurement teams. You understand why product quality matters, why specification details matter, why timing matters, and why trust matters even more. This is not a conventional sales role. This is a commission and equity position (with salary after funding). And it can be remote. That is important to say clearly. Please do not respond with the intent of asking for salary. We are looking for someone who sees the scale of the opportunity and wants to help build the sales engine of a company early — not someone looking for a standard salaried sales seat inside an established organization. For the right person, the upside is significant. You would be joining MDP at the stage when relationships, process, reputation, and early revenue can still shape the company’s future. Ideal background: • Senior sales, business development, or trade leadership experience • Proven success selling upscale or luxury products into the A&D community • Existing relationships with major design firms, architecture firms, hospitality firms, purchasing agents, developers, or ownership groups • Experience with furniture, wallcoverings, lighting, rugs, FF&E, architectural products, luxury interiors, hospitality, or related categories • Strong judgment, high integrity, and the ability to represent a serious design-led platform with credibility
