QA Automation Analyst (Playwright + TypeScript) – Remote (5+ years of experience)

🕒 Schedule: Full-time – 40 hours/week (Monday to Friday)

🚀 Role Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced QA Automation Analyst to join our Product & Engineering team. This role focuses on ensuring product quality by designing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web applications.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with Typescript to ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications.

• Manage automated test execution, reporting defects clearly and concisely

• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other senior QA engineers to understand requirements and deliver comprehensive test coverage.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes, automation, and frameworks.

• Participate in agile ceremonies and promote a culture of quality across the team..

✅ Requirements

Must-have

• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript for test automation of large complex systems.

• Familiarity with Playwright or similar end-to-end testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress).

• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to document and share findings effectively.

• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git.

Nice to have

• Good problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.

• Enthusiasm for learning new tools and technologies in a collaborative environment.

• Familiarity with SaaS or edtech product environments

• Experience with online assessment platforms

• Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g. AWS, Datadog, etc.)
