Senior Proposal Specialist

SUMMARY

We are seeking a Proposal Development Senior Associate to support proposal development activities across the APAC region in a fully remote capacity within a growing Contract Research Organization (CRO).

This role requires a high degree of autonomy and ownership, partnering closely with business development and clinical teams to deliver high-quality, competitive proposals. Key areas of focus include proposal strategy, study budget development, and vendor coordination across regional clinical trial opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development and optimization of study budgets, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with client requirements
• Take ownership of critical proposal components, coordinating inputs from cross-functional teams across APAC
• Review, consolidate, and validate vendor quotations and third-party cost inputs
• Support the development of commercial strategies and proposal content to drive business growth
• Manage multiple proposals concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality submissions
• Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders on proposal-related activities
• Identify and drive improvements in processes, tools, and efficiencies within the proposal development function

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in proposal development within a CRO environment, ideally at Senior Associate level
• Strong expertise in budgeting, pricing, and vendor cost management for clinical trials
• Solid understanding of clinical trial operations and proposal lifecycle processes
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a remote, fast-paced environment
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and regional stakeholders
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
