Senior Project Delivery Manager

We are seeking an energetic, detail focused Project Manager as a part of our customer delivery operations in Japan. You will be accountable for the successful delivery and coordination of assigned projects and/or work streams within major insurance technology implementation and upgrade programs, ensuring that our global standards meet the high-quality expectations of our customers and that projects are completed on time, within scope and budget, and with a level of quality that turns new users into advocates. This is a hybrid located position, which will involve homeworking, working at our office site locations and on customer premises. Occasional international travel may be required. Key Responsibilities Trust & Relationship Management: Represent the company during the delivery phase of projects, building trusted relationships with our customer’s team, our delivery partners. Precision Delivery: Own and manage your assigned project(s) adopting a "zero-defect" mentality, ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality parameters. Management of Scope and Change: Ensure that project scope is closely managed and that change is addressed commercially and contractually with the client on a timely basis. Quality Assurance & Risk Control: Proactively manage project risk and ensure rigorous quality validation to meet the high standards of our business and our customers. Teamwork & Personal Growth: Actively engage and participate with your colleagues, challenge and stretch yourself as part of creating a trusted, high performing environment. Customer Advocacy: Deliver outcomes that impress the customer to the extent that they are willing advocates of our platform and our business. Responsibilities Include: Support sales colleagues in sales campaigns as applicable. Be accountable for your project delivery through Go Live; with an emphasis on delivering to time, cost and quality targets. Throughout projects proactively identifying and addressing areas of customer concern and project risk. Ensuring we have a managed project plan that delivers the outcomes and provides a clear demonstration of next steps and achievements. Collaborate with customer, internal colleagues and our project delivery partner teams to ensure inter-dependencies are met. Ensure EIS financial goals are met and that scope change and customer dependency achievement are robustly managed. Identify project risks, prepare risk mitigation plans and follow up on corrective actions. Deliver project reporting, status updates, and tracking at all levels with EIS’s standard metrics and tools. Ensure compliance with EIS standards and practices in all aspects of the project. Own and resolve customer, partner and internal escalations related to the project Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Essential: Outstanding spoken and written Japanese and English. A minimum of 5-7 years experience leading and managing projects in insurance platform technology or core insurance system transformation projects. Knowledge of end-to-end software development and/or implementation lifecycle across skills (BA, Architecture, Development, QA). Practical experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies. High energy and a positive attitude that inspires confidence in all stakeholders and delivers great results. Ability to understand complex business processes and supporting technology. Experience working within a multicultural, global located team. Self-starter, self-motivated, self-directed, comfortable in a semi-structured environment. Ability and willingness to travel (including internationally). Preferable: Certifications SAFe, Scrum/Agile, PMP.
