Helcim is searching for a motivated, curious, and experienced Senior Product Manager to join us on our mission to become the world’s most loved payments company. In this role, you’ll own meaningful product areas and initiatives that help shape the future of Helcim’s payments platform. You’ll work closely with product leadership, engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams to define problems, prioritize opportunities, and deliver impactful product improvements for our merchants. As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll be expected to bring clarity to ambiguity, translate strategy into execution, and influence cross-functional teams without relying on authority. You’ll be a trusted partner to stakeholders and a strong advocate for our merchants, using customer insight, data, and business context to make thoughtful product decisions. Join us and help shape the future of payments. 6+ years of experience in product management or a closely related product role. Proven experience owning product areas, roadmaps, or complex initiatives from discovery through launch and iteration. Experience working in SaaS, fintech, payments, or another technology-driven environment is an asset. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, business, technology, or equivalent practical experience. Strong ability to drive cross-functional product alignment and influence without authority. Able to bring structure to ambiguity, define problems clearly, and turn undefined work into actionable milestones and timelines. Strong merchant empathy and the ability to put customer needs at the center of product decisions. Experienced with data analysis tools and familiarity with SQL or other data querying languages. Strong understanding of product discovery, roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and product delivery practices. Able to identify risks, trade-offs, dependencies, and opportunities, and communicate them clearly to stakeholders. Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment, with excitement about having a disproportionate impact on direction, processes, and outcomes. Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for a meaningful product area or set of product initiatives across Helcim’s payments platform. Translate company strategy, merchant needs, data insights, and stakeholder input into a clear and prioritized product roadmap. Scope ambiguous or undefined opportunities into well-defined problems, milestones, timelines, and success measures. Partner with engineering, design, data, and other product teams to deliver high-quality product releases. Manage the product lifecycle from discovery and research through design, development, launch, adoption, and iteration. Analyze user behavior, conduct market and competitive research, and leverage data-driven insights to identify opportunities, pain points, and product improvements. Define, monitor, and report on key product metrics to evaluate performance and inform future decisions. Serve as a key liaison between development teams and internal or external stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely communication. Identify product risks, dependencies, and trade-offs early, and make thoughtful recommendations to stakeholders and leadership. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and help teams move forward when priorities are unclear or decisions are complex. Mentor more junior product team members or peers by sharing product practices, context, feedback, and guidance. Contribute to improving product processes, product quality, and team effectiveness as Helcim continues to grow and scale.
