Job Description:

At EPPSA (Envases y Productos Plásticos), a company with over 65 years of experience in the plastics industry, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist. This role is key to identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, reliable quality, and on-time delivery. The Sourcing Specialist will work closely with our procurement and operations teams to strengthen our supply chain and expand our supplier network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, identify, and qualify potential suppliers across multiple industries.

• Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.

• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.

• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery requirements.

• Collaborate with internal teams (purchasing, production, logistics) to align sourcing strategies with business needs.

• Provide market insights and recommend strategies for cost optimization and risk management.

• Support the implementation of sourcing best practices and process improvements.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain (plastics, packaging, or industrial sectors preferred).

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

• Knowledge of different markets, including agriculture, automotive, and pharmaceutical.

• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.

• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Proficiency in procurement tools, ERP systems, or sourcing platforms is a plus.
