The Senior Marketing Assistant – Offshore Marketing Delivery plays a vital role in taking ownership of the day-to-day coordination of a dedicated client pod, ensuring marketing activity is organised, accurate, on brand and delivered on time. This is a hands-on role. You will lead people and projects, but you will also be actively involved in preparing content, managing client communication, scheduling and publishing posts, researching opportunities, updating systems and resolving the small but important tasks that keep client accounts running smoothly.
Client Delivery and Project Management:
Translating direction from onshore directors into clear, actionable tasks
Managing priorities, deadlines and recurring deliverables across ClickUp and client trackers
Monitoring progress and following up team members before deadlines become risks
Preparing weekly and monthly client activity plans
Coordinating approvals, revisions and publishing schedules
Reviewing posts, visuals, captions and videos before client submission
Keeping client hubs, folders and internal systems accurate and up to date
Identifying blockers early and recommending practical solutions
Maintaining a clear view of what is happening across every allocated account
Client Communication:
Providing proactive updates on content, campaigns, filming activity and deliverables
Responding professionally and promptly to client questions and requests
Following up approvals, feedback, assets and missing information
Keeping conversations organised and ensuring actions are captured
Escalating strategic questions, sensitive matters or major changes to the onshore Account Director
Building trust through clear, warm and solution-focused communication
Content Preparation and Publishing:
Preparing content calendars based on the approved strategy
Coordinating design and video requirements with specialist team members
Managing feedback and revision requests
Scheduling and publishing approved content
Repurposing content across channels where appropriate
Identifying opportunities to create additional value from existing footage, testimonials, listings, projects, events and client updates
Research and Content Development:
Researching client industries, local markets and target audiences
Reviewing competitors, market trends and social media activity
Identifying timely content opportunities, community events and seasonal themes
Suggesting educational content, FAQs, testimonials, case studies and lead-generation ideas
Supporting the preparation of video topics, filming briefs, scripts, social posts, blogs and email content
Using AI tools thoughtfully to improve research, ideation and efficiency
Contributing ideas that are realistic, commercially relevant and easy for the wider team to execute
Team Leadership and Coaching:
Running regular team huddles
Writing clear briefs with the correct context, assets and deadlines
Following up progress and maintaining accountability
Reviewing work before it reaches the client
Helping team members improve their skills, confidence and understanding of client expectations
Creating a positive and collaborative working environment
Supporting new team members during onboarding
Cross-Team Coordination:
Coordinating with designers, editors, paid advertising specialists, developers, SEO specialists and administrative support
Sharing client feedback and relevant updates across the team
Helping specialists understand brand guidelines and client preferences
Contributing to team training and process improvements
Sharing learnings, templates and examples of strong work
Supporting other Team Leaders when priorities shift or urgent work arises
Helping maintain consistent standards across the agency
