Senior HubSpot Platform Engineer

Position Overview: We encourage applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of gender identity. We are looking for a Senior HubSpot Platform Engineer to own and evolve a customized HubSpot environment that serves as the central operating system for our Sales, Marketing, Partner Management, and After-Sales operations across 6 international regions. Our platform includes custom-developed UI Extensions (React), a CMS-based Partner Portal, multiple Custom Objects with complex association logic, 100+ interdependent workflows, a custom-built CPQ process, and bidirectional integrations with several external systems. You will be the go-to person for everything from CRM configuration and workflow automation to portal development and custom app maintenance. This role requires someone who can move fluidly between disciplines – from writing HubL templates to debugging React components to designing workflow cascades. You’ll get to take ownership of: CRM Architecture: Configure and maintain Custom Objects, Association Labels, Pipelines, and Properties across a complex, multi-object data model Workflow Automation: Build and maintain complex workflows including Custom Code Actions (JavaScript), cross-object property sync, and multi-level approval chains UI Extension Development: Develop and maintain custom-built React-based UI Extensions (CPQ tool, deal configuration, link cards) deployed via HubSpot Serverless Functions Partner Portal: Develop and maintain an external HubSpot CMS-based Partner Portal with membership logic, visibility rules, and HubDB-driven content Integrations: Support and extend API integrations with external systems (ERP, LMS, support tools, AI services) via Operations Hub and custom code Documentation: Maintain technical documentation for configurations, custom code, and integrations What will you learn during your apprenticeship?: We’d love to meet someone with: Several years of professional experience working deeply within the HubSpot ecosystem Strong experience with HubSpot CRM configuration (Custom Objects, Associations, Workflows, Properties) Proficiency in HubSpot CMS development (HubL, JavaScript, CSS, Custom Modules, HubDB) Solid React.js skills (for HubSpot UI Extensions / CRM Extensions) Experience with HubSpot Serverless Functions and the HubSpot API (v3/v4) Strong JavaScript skills across the board (Custom Code Actions, frontend, integrations) Experience with API integrations and Operations Hub Proficiency with Git-based development workflows Understanding of CPQ processes, approval logic, and quote generation Fluent in English Nice to Have German language skills Experience with AI integrations (OpenAI API, automated enrichment) HubSpot certifications (Solutions Architect, CMS Developer, or similar) Experience integrating HubSpot with legacy ERP/CRM systems We’d love to hear from you: You can look forward to: A modern, spacious office with a view of Lake Starnberg in Tutzing Subsidised lunches in our in-house restaurant A personal learning and development budget 30 vacation days per year 2 additional paid days off on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve Up to 20 days of remote work per year from any EU country Bike leasing through our partnership with JobRad Opportunity to work flexibly from home Team evenings every Thursday with refreshments covered by the company A company pension plan (bAV) If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply!
