Job Description We're seeking a Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect for Salesforce who can serve as the strategic voice for our Salesforce platform across the entire organization. This isn't a hands-on configuration role or a direct management position—you'll be the consensus-builder who aligns engineering, security, product, and business teams without direct authority over them. Your mission is to ensure our multi-cloud, multi-org Salesforce environment scales securely, remains compliant, and avoids accumulating technical debt. You'll sit on the Enterprise Architecture Board, represent Salesforce at the highest levels, and be the final decision-maker on critical platform choices. This role requires someone who can connect business strategy to technical reality, mentor architects and developers on best practices, and hold external partners accountable to quality standards. Map business goals to Salesforce technical investments, ensuring technology supports actual business needs. Own and maintain the operating model for how work is requested, reviewed, and delivered on the platform. Represent Salesforce on the Enterprise Architecture Board and advocate for platform standards. Serve as the final decision-maker on significant architectural choices with clear business and technical framing. Security, Data & Integration Lead the design of global identity, permissions, and zero-trust security (SSO, MFA, secure login). Own the platform data strategy: duplicate data resolution, clean data models, and compliance (HIPAA, PCI, SOX, GDPR). Oversee sandbox management, data masking, and privacy controls across all environments. Define and standardize integrations using modern patterns (event-driven messaging, middleware, streaming) via MuleSoft and Oracle ERP. Establish guardrails for safe Generative AI implementation on the platform. Ensure robust system monitoring and logging (e.g., Chronicle SIEM) for early issue detection. Delivery & Execution Partner with project and release teams to enforce strict quality, reliability, and uptime standards. Own technical decisions for modernizing deployment pipelines and moving toward smoother, automated CI/CD. Hold external consulting firms and system integrators accountable; review their work before go-live. Coach other architects, admins, and developers on secure coding, automation, and Flow design best practices. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Experience & Skills Minimum 10 years in information technology. Minimum 5 years focused on Salesforce in large, multi-cloud enterprise environments. Proven matrixed leadership: influence independent teams, manage conflict, and drive consensus without direct authority. Governance experience: presenting to or sitting on an Enterprise Architecture Board, using Architectural Decision Records (ADRs). Broad technical knowledge: understanding business logic, API gateways, middleware, data encryption, and compliance requirements. Ability and willingness to travel 10–20% for quarterly PI Planning, IT leadership meetings, and annual conferences. U.S. citizenship required (immigration sponsorship not available). Nice-to-Haves Experience cleaning up technical debt and consolidating/merging multiple Salesforce orgs. Deep familiarity with Core Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ, MuleSoft, and back-office ERP systems. Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related business field. Pay & Benefits Salary: $150,000–$200,000 annually Comprehensive health benefits 401(k) retirement plan Professional development and certification reimbursement Flexible remote work policy with quarterly in-person meetings Annual conference and leadership development opportunities Call-to-Action Ready to shape the future of fintech architecture?
