Role Description This full-time remote Senior Director Business Development role at SCHMIDT Gruppe Invest GmbH focuses on driving sustainable revenue growth, expanding strategic partnerships, and shaping the company’s market presence. The individual will be expected to mentor team members, promote cross-functional collaboration, and embody a high standard of professional integrity in all external and internal interactions. Qualifications Proven expertise in New Business Development and Lead Generation, including identifying target markets, building a qualified pipeline, and converting prospects into long-term partners. Strong background in Business Planning, with experience developing data-driven growth strategies, financial projections, and go-to-market plans. Demonstrated success in Contract Negotiation, including structuring agreements, managing risk, and securing mutually beneficial terms. Solid Account Management experience, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and expansion of existing relationships. Extensive experience in senior-level business development or commercial leadership roles, ideally in investment, financial services, or related sectors. Ability to work effectively in a remote, international environment, collaborating across cultures and time zones. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at C-level. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including proficiency with CRM tools and data-driven decision-making. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage. Fluency in written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus.
