We are looking for a talented and commercially minded Senior Corporate Tax Advisory Manager to join our expanding tax advisory team in London. This is a key permanent appointment and a strategic hire to support the continued growth in our advisory offering, following the successful merger of Alliotts LLP with the Shaw Gibbs Group. You will be a key leader of the advisory services for the firm, collaborating with a dynamic tax team, delivering high-value advisory work to an exciting client base that includes entrepreneurial businesses, international groups, and specialist sectors such as media and tech. What You’ll Bring: Qualifications & Experience: CTA qualified, or ATT/ACA qualified with significant corporate tax advisory experience. Strong advisory experience gained within a UK professional services firm. Comfortable leading projects and engaging directly with clients. Experience managing a varied portfolio and delivering to deadlines. Solid understanding of international tax issues (desirable). Familiarity with CCH and Alphatax advantageous (training provided). Skills & Attributes: Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. Ability to present complex issues clearly and concisely to clients and colleagues. Proactive, solutions-focused approach to client challenges. A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for team development. Well organised, with excellent time management and attention to detail. Your Role: As Senior Corporate Tax Advisory Manager, you will: Lead and deliver a broad range of advisory projects, including: Corporate restructures and group reorganisations. R&D tax claims. Share schemes and employee incentives. International structuring and cross-border tax advice. Corporate transactions and due diligence. Property-related tax matters and corporate interest restrictions. Work closely with Partners and Directors to identify and develop tax planning opportunities. Act as a trusted adviser to clients, building strong, long-term relationships. Support business development, including preparing proposals and attending client meetings. Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to their development and performance. Stay abreast of tax legislation and market trends, and share insights with the team. Collaborate across service lines and offices to provide integrated client solutions. 80/20 split biased to advisory.
