Your Role: Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Finance, the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will serve as a key cross-functional partner responsible for organizing, analyzing, and visualizing business data across the organization. This individual will work closely with engineering and business stakeholders to improve data quality, automate reporting, build dashboards, and identify trends that support strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical analytics capabilities with business acumen and communication skills. The successful candidate will help establish scalable reporting processes and ensure leadership has timely, accurate, and actionable operational and financial insights. We’re redefining pet wellness through science-backed nutrition and a commitment to sustainable, transparent growth. \n Responsibilities Partner with Leadership, Strategic Finance, Operations, Marketing and Sales teams to identify and prioritize key business metrics and reporting needs. Develop and maintain dashboards, automated reporting tools, and data visualizations to support operational and financial decision-making. Extract, clean, structure, and analyze large datasets from ERP, operational, eCommerce, and other internal systems. Build scalable reporting processes and improve data accessibility across the organization. Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and actionable insights. Assist in the development and maintenance of KPI definitions, metric governance, and reporting consistency. Identify trends, anomalies, and business performance drivers through exploratory analysis and recurring reporting. Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives through data analysis and visualization. Work closely with engineering and systems teams to improve data pipelines, reporting architecture, and system integrations. Help drive adoption of self-service analytics and data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. Support ad hoc analyses and executive-level reporting requests. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or related field. 4–7 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, strategic finance, FP&A, or related analytical roles, with a track record of building and maintaining dashboards and reporting infrastructure Advanced SQL skills and strong experience working with relational databases and large datasets. Proficiency in at least one BI/visualization platform (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar) with demonstrated ability to build from a spec or design brief Strong Excel and financial modeling capabilities. Experience working cross-functionally with both technical and business stakeholders. Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to non-technical audiences. Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or similar platforms preferred. Experience pulling, cleaning, and structuring data from syndicated sources (Nielsen, SPINS) and retailer vendor portals. Experience with data transformation tools or scripting languages (Python, dbt, or similar) preferred. Experience in consumer products, eCommerce, manufacturing, or supply chain analytics preferred.
