About the role: The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive growth strategy to strengthen the company’s presence across the United Kingdom and Ireland. This role focuses on driving revenue growth through strategic planning, client relationship management, market expansion, and sales leadership. Working closely with the Director of Business Development (UK & Ireland), the successful candidate will contribute to achieving ambitious business objectives while ensuring long-term, sustainable success. Main Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Development Analyze the UK& Ireland market landscape, competitive environment, and emerging industry trends. Define clear business objectives, revenue targets, and growth priorities for the UK& Ireland market. Develop and implement a business development strategy, including key initiatives, timelines, and resource allocation. Create detailed action plans and ensure effective execution. Key Account Management & Relationship Building Identify and prioritize high-value client accounts and strategic partnerships. Build and nurture senior-level relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners. Develop tailored account plans that align with client objectives and the company’s value proposition. Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and retention. Business Development & Market Expansion Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion, product diversification, and strategic partnerships within the UK. Conduct in-depth market research and feasibility assessments. Develop compelling business cases and proposals for new ventures and collaborations. Lead negotiations and manage contracts to ensure commercial success and compliance. Sales Leadership & Team Collaboration Support the Director of Business Development in leading and inspiring the regional sales team. Set clear performance expectations and contribute to the development of best-practice sales processes. Provide coaching, feedback, and mentorship to drive continuous improvement. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across the team. Forecasting, Reporting & Analysis Produce accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports based on data, market intelligence, and client activity. Analyze performance to identify opportunities for growth and operational improvements. Present regular updates and strategic insights to the Director of Business Development and senior leadership. Report on key metrics, KPIs, and financial outcomes.
