Senior Blockchain Engineer

Bondex is looking for a Senior Blockchain Engineer for a leading crypto company. About the Role We’re looking for blockchain developers and rust developers to build the core node. We’re writing the chain from scratch, so we have a lot of interesting technical issues to solve. We’re looking for developers with blockchain development experience, working directly on a chain (not smart contract development), or experienced rust developers to bolster our growing team. We’re a primarily remote company and we tend to stick to roughly CET working hours, 10 am CET - 1 pm CET can be considered our core hours when the entire team is around. Develop software in rust for our core nodeWrite tests and develop the test framework in both rust and pythonHelp design and plan the architecture of the core nodeFix bugs and security issues when requiredShape the future of the core nodeWork with other internal teams to integrate the core node in to their productsMentor less experienced developersRequirements Experience with a low-level language (c, c++, rust)At least 2 years of development experience with a minimum of 1 year of blockchain experience or 5 years of experience with no previous blockchain experienceGreat written and spoken English - it’s our working languageExperience working with a remote team (preferred but not essential)Understanding of security issues and best practicesYou can read, understand and implement an RFC or a specificationWillingness to work hours that overlap with 10am - 1pm CET
