Senior Automation & Electrical Design Engineer (f/m) Take ownership of end-to-end automation and electrical design projects, influencing technical decisions and delivering high-impact solutions. We are looking for an experienced Automation Professional with a broad skill set covering electrical design, automation systems, and commissioning . This role is ideal for a senior expert who can take ownership across the full lifecycle of industrial automation solutions - from design to implementation. Key Responsibilities Design and develop industrial electrical and automation systems Create electrical designs, schematics, and documentation using industry tools Program and configure PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems Select and dimension electrical components, drives, and instrumentation Ensure compliance with machinery safety standards and regulations Work with industrial communication systems and integrate automation architectures Participate in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems Act as a senior specialist supporting projects and technical decisions Your Profile B.Sc. or M.Sc. Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or Information Technology Extensive experience in industrial electrical and automation engineering Strong knowledge of machinery safety standards and requirements Proven experience in electrical design tools such as AutoCAD, Eplan, Cadmatic, E3, or equivalent Solid expertise in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens, Omron, Beckhoff, Schneider, Allen-Bradley, Honeywell, Valmet DNA) Experience with SCADA/HMI systems (e.g. TIA Portal, WinCC, InTouch, System Platform) Familiarity with industrial fieldbuses (e.g. Profinet, Profibus) Hands-on experience with industrial drives and motion systems (ABB, Siemens, Vacon), including commissioning Experience with safety PLCs is required Ability to select and dimension cabling, protections, and instrumentation Experience in system commissioning and troubleshooting Additional Advantages Experience with high-voltage systems (>1000 V) Familiarity with advanced tools such as Vitec Alma or similar Broad understanding of end-to-end automation project delivery Why Join Us?
