Role Description We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. This is a full-time, remote role. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial records. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills and be able to work independently. At times, there will be pressure to meet deadlines, but we strive to exceed the expectations of our clients. Essential Functions: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, such as recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment collection, and vendor management. Support the payroll process by accurately calculating employee salaries, wages, and benefits and ensuring timely payment. Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial information. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis, providing insights on financial performance and trends. Help maintain accurate and organized financial records in cloud storage Stay updated on accounting principles, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices. Qualifications Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Attention to detail and accuracy Team player Ability to work with tight deadlines Knowledge of QuickBooks and other accounting software Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field US GAAP required US Accounting experience required CPA required Perks: Huge growth potential Flexible schedule with the ability to work from home.
