Duties and responsibilities Reports to the Finance Director Perform month-end closing activities (calendar month) Reconcile bank statements Manage balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses. Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules Responsible for AP/AR and General Ledger activities on a weekly basis. Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas. Manage the annual audit to ensure completion in a timely manner and with minimal adjustments. Collect and file appropriate supporting documentation. Assist in ad hoc analysis, office administration and other duties as required. Supervise AP/AR staff Desired Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance 5+ years accounting experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles Knowledge of NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics AX (added value) Demonstrated intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel including the use of formulas and functions Independent, autonomous and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with global standards Calm, cool, collected under pressure and not easily agitated with multiple requests and a heavy workload High-level numeracy and reconciliation skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy with figures Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with a proactive approach Takes initiative, sets priorities and meet deadlines Flexible, agile and initiates continuous improvement Experience with NetSuite, preferred Potential additional hours required during training and onboarding phase and additional hours as necessary including during month-end closing process Benefits Medical, vision, and dental insurance HSA options 6% 401(k) match Short- and long-term disability insurance 3 annual wellness days 20 PTO days + 10 sick days annually Monthly fitness stipend Opportunities for continued education & professional development Perks for your fur friends, including product stipends and pet insurance discounts Local team members will be required to work from our Orlando office 3x/week.
