Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial processes including preparing and maintaining financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with GAAP principles. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing financial data, managing budgets, contributing to forecasting, and preparing reports for management. The role also includes process improvement initiatives and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain financial accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance
• Expertise in account reconciliation, budget management, and financial forecasting
• Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial data clearly to stakeholders
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines efficiently
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
• Prior experience in the manufacturing or export/import sectors is a plus
