Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Philippines | Remote

Working Hours: FULL US HOURS (Schedule would depend on Client Assignment)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Accountant who will support the Finance & Accounting team by performing critical month-end activities, preparing financial reports, assisting in audit readiness, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. This role will work closely with senior team members and clients, and offers significant growth opportunities within a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial statements in compliance with GAAP and IFRS.
• Support internal reporting processes and generate accurate financial reports.
• Conduct routine accounting activities such as data entry, bank reconciliations, and preliminary tax calculations.
• Assist in audit documentation preparation and ensure timely submission of requirements.
• Maintain accurate transaction records, including revenues, payroll, and expenses.
• Prepare journal entries and perform necessary adjustments to ensure financial accuracy.
• Support tax compliance and routine tax-related calculations.
• Contribute to budgeting, cash flow tracking, and general accounting tasks.
• Stay informed of changes in basic regulatory standards and support implementation of accounting best practices.
• Collaborate closely with the broader accounting team to maintain operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and sound analytical skills.
• Familiarity with GAAP and IFRS standards (strong plus).
• Experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks, Accurate, Oracle, or SAP preferred).
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Ability to adapt and perform in a fast-paced, results-oriented, client-facing environment.
• ERP, programming/coding, or big data experience is a plus.
• Available to join immediately.
