This is a pure new business hunting role with the market-leading cloud tax compliance platform – a billion-dollar business processing over 50 billion API calls and millions of tax returns annually. They are defining the relationship between tax and technology, and are now accelerating their growth across the DACH region. This is not an account management or customer success position – they are looking for a dedicated enterprise new business seller who lives and breathes pipeline generation, territory building and closing net new logos.
The Role:
You will own and drive new business growth across the DACH region, winning mid-market and enterprise customers. You will build and maintain a strong pipeline through a mix of outbound prospecting, marketing collaboration and partner engagement – this is greenfield territory building, not managing inbound leads. You will create and execute strategic territory and account plans, navigate complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles, and position tax compliance solutions as a strategic advantage. You will collaborate with Alliance Managers and ERP partners (particularly SAP ecosystem) to unlock co-selling and referral opportunities. You will also work closely with marketing to tailor regional campaigns and bring market insights to help shape the go-to-market strategy across DACH. After closing, accounts transition to a dedicated account management team – your focus stays entirely on winning new business.
The Candidate:
Let's be clear about what this role requires: you must be a proven new business hunter with a demonstrable track record of self-generating pipeline and closing net new enterprise logos. 5+ years of experience in new business development within B2B SaaS, ERP, FinTech or tax technology, consistently hitting or exceeding quota. You will have experience running complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles where you have navigated internal buying committees across procurement, finance, IT and operations – not deals managed end-to-end by a single person. You must be able to clearly articulate your personal pipeline generation numbers, quota attainment history and specific new business wins with structure and detail. A solid understanding of ERP systems – ideally SAP – and how they connect with tax or finance solutions is important. Familiarity with the DACH tax and regulatory landscape is a plus. Fluent German and English essential. This role is not suited to candidates whose experience is primarily account management, customer success, renewals or post-sale relationship management.
The Package:
On offer is a base salary of €100k with an OTE of €200k, plus a €750 per month car allowance. The role is fully remote, based anywhere in Germany. You will be joining a billion-dollar, AI-first technology company with a global footprint and a strong culture that empowers its people to win.
