We need a founding seller, not a quota-carrier. Someone who's done the zero-to-one before and wants to do it again. No playbook. No safety net. No excuses. If that scares you, stop reading. If it excites you, keep going. The Long Version You'll own revenue growth for Ververica's stream processing platform across Financial Services and Manufacturing in the UK and Middle East. Two sectors where real-time data isn't a nice-to-have. It's the infrastructure. Financial Services means trading systems, payment processing, and fraud detection. Manufacturing means IIoT and predictive maintenance. These buyers are technical, skeptical, and allergic to slide decks. You'll sell to CTOs and Architects who know when they're being pitched fluff. This isn't feature selling. This is selling a vision of real-time data evolution to people who understand the stakes. You'll connect business outcomes to technical architecture and make the case that Ververica is the platform their most critical workloads deserve. The Middle East brings its own complexity. Different procurement cycles, different relationship dynamics, different timelines. You've navigated this before, or you're ready to learn fast. What You'll Own Build the Market You're starting from zero in these regions. You'll identify target accounts, build pipeline from scratch, and create a repeatable motion that scales. Outbound is your primary weapon. Events, partnerships, and community presence are your accelerants. Nobody is handing you leads. Win Strategic Deals You'll run full-cycle enterprise sales from first conversation to signed contract. Complex, multi-stakeholder deals with long sales cycles and high contract values. You'll map buying committees, build champions, and navigate procurement. Every deal you close sets the standard for the region. Shape the Go-to-Market You're the eyes and ears on the ground. You'll feed market intelligence back to Product and Marketing. You'll influence positioning, messaging, and regional strategy. Your insights will determine how Ververica shows up in these markets.
