Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze realistic SOC incident and alert scenarios — identify what's happening, why it matters, and how a skilled analyst would respond Classify alert severity, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate triage and response actions Review detection logic and investigation workflows to assess real-world accuracy Evaluate AI-generated security analysis outputs and provide structured expert feedback Help ensure AI systems reflect how analysts actually detect, prioritize, and respond to threats in practice Who You Are 2+ years of hands-on experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations Familiar with SIEM platforms, alert triage workflows, and threat investigation processes Able to distinguish true positives from false positives and background noise with confidence Clear communicator who can articulate the reasoning behind security decisions Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on async, task-based assignments Nice to Have Experience with threat hunting, malware analysis, or digital forensics Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK or NIST Background working across multiple industries or security environments Prior experience in AI evaluation, labeling, or training workflows Why Join Us Work directly on cutting-edge AI projects with top security and research teams Fully remote and flexible — you set the pace and schedule that works for you Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and collaboration with experts across the globe Make a meaningful impact on how AI understands and responds to real-world cyber threats Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
