About the Role Our client is a founder-led events and media company where entrepreneurs gather to fuel their creative genius. They create high-impact experiences for brand builders, by brand builders, from intimate farm-to-table dinners and overnight retreats to immersive popups and headline-making summits across North America. They are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help build and manage the sponsorship pipeline. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying potential sponsors, generating qualified leads, executing outbound outreach, and supporting the founder throughout the sales process . The founder leads the sales conversations and closes deals, while you will focus on prospecting, outreach, CRM management, and ensuring opportunities move smoothly through the pipeline . This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable using AI and modern sales tools to build scalable prospecting systems and generate new business opportunities. Responsibilities Sales Pipeline Management Manage and maintain the sponsorship pipeline in the CRM Track deal stages, follow-ups, and revenue forecasts Maintain accurate records of all sales activity Lead Generation & Prospecting Research and build target partner lists within ecommerce and consumer brands Identify decision makers across marketing, partnerships, and growth teams Maintain monthly outbound prospect lists Outbound Sales Conduct outreach via email, LinkedIn, and warm introductions Book discovery calls with potential sponsors Qualify leads and move them through the sales pipeline Sponsorship Sales & Deal Management Join sales calls, prepare follow-up proposals, and close partnerships Draft sponsorship agreements and coordinate contract execution Account Management Maintain strong relationships with existing sponsors Ensure partners have a high-touch experience Identify upsell and renewal opportunities CRM & Sales Operations Send post-call follow-up emails and summarize key points discussed. Assist with preparing sponsorship proposals and partnership materials. Coordinate sending agreements and tracking deal progress. Ensure all opportunities are properly tracked in the CRM. Requirements 3–5 years of experience in sales, partnerships, sponsorship sales, or business development Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication Comfortable with outbound prospecting and relationship building Experience in ecommerce, media, or events is a strong plus Additional Information: Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM PST (flexible) Commitment: Full-Time (40 hrs/week) Contract Type: Independent Contractor
