Our mission is to craft innovative legal solutions that respond to the complexities of the digital era and promote equitable global cyber governance. Role Description This is a volunteer remote role for a Scholar at Cyber Jurisprudence International Initiative (CyJurII). Scholars will contribute to in-depth research, author publications, and actively participate in discussions shaping legal frameworks for cyberspace. Responsibilities include conducting thorough investigations into contemporary issues, developing thought leadership content, and collaborating on events and initiatives within CyJurII’s focus areas. Qualifications Strong research, critical thinking, and analytical skills, with a focus on legal and technological topics. Excellent written communication and academic writing abilities. Background in law, policy, international relations, or related fields, with knowledge of cyberspace regulations and ethics. Experience or interest in topics like AI & Law, cyber governance, cross-border legal compliance, and digital rights. Ability to collaborate in a remote, cross-disciplinary, and multicultural environment. Adaptability and a proactive approach to contributing to thought leadership and legal scholarship. Understanding of legal implications of emerging technologies and cyberspace developments is a plus.
