Job Description This is a remote position. The Opportunity: Pentoz is seeking a highly skilled SAP WM (Warehouse Management) Expert to join our remote SAP consulting team. This role is ideal for professionals who specialize in designing, configuring, and optimizing warehouse operations through SAP WM and are passionate about streamlining supply chain execution across industries such as manufacturing, retail, logistics, and pharmaceuticals. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end implementation and configuration of SAP WM modules including inventory management, put-away, picking, goods receipt, and stock transfers Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP WM functional specifications Design and configure warehouse processes in SAP to improve storage management, space utilization, and material flow Support integration between SAP WM and other modules like MM, SD, LE, and QM Collaborate with warehouse operations teams to implement real-time inventory visibility and traceability Provide guidance on warehouse layout design and automation capabilities through SAP WM Work closely with ABAP and technical teams for custom development, enhancements, and reports Execute system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production cutovers Prepare documentation, conduct user training, and provide post-go-live support Assist clients in migrating to decentralized or embedded SAP EWM if required Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in SAP WM configuration, implementation, and support Proven experience working in warehouse and distribution environments Strong knowledge of warehouse processes such as inbound/outbound logistics, stock placements, inventory counting, and cross-docking Hands-on experience with WM-related transactions, movement types, and stock types Ability to integrate WM with MM, SD, and LE modules Proficiency in master data (storage types, bins, quant, warehouse numbers) Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with stakeholders, end-users, and project teams Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP S/4HANA and EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Knowledge of radio frequency (RF) integration and mobile data entry in warehouses Understanding of logistics execution, transportation planning, and yard management Experience with automation interfaces (e.g., conveyor belts, scanners, RFID) SAP certification in WM or Logistics Execution Background in regulated industries (e.g., life sciences, food & beverage) What We Offer: Fully remote position with flexible working arrangements Competitive compensation and project-based incentives Exposure to global supply chain transformation projects Opportunities for upskilling and SAP S/4HANA certifications Clear career path toward roles such as SAP EWM Architect or Supply Chain Solutions Lead About Pentoz: Pentoz is a next-generation technology and consulting company focused on transforming enterprise operations through digital innovation.
