SAP IS-Utilities Expert: Power Digital Operations Across the Utility Sector Pentoz is looking for a seasoned SAP IS-Utilities (IS-U) Expert to lead design, configuration, and optimization of SAP systems supporting electricity, gas, water, and waste management operations. You’ll play a critical role in helping us digitize metering, billing, and customer service processes across mission-critical utility networks. Key Responsibilities Configure and implement SAP IS-U modules including Device Management, Customer Service (CS), Billing, FICA , and Work Management Manage end-to-end utility business processes: meter-to-cash , connection/disconnection , tariff calculation , and billing/invoicing Integrate IS-U with CRM, AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure), GIS , and external energy or water networks Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting and support green energy and sustainability initiatives Collaborate with business users and tech teams to support both operational stability and digital innovation You Bring 5+ years of experience in SAP IS-Utilities (electricity, water, gas, or waste sectors) Hands-on expertise in FICA , billing schema configuration , rate structures , and device installation processes Familiarity with S/4HANA for Utilities , smart meter integration , and digital self-service platforms Knowledge of regulatory compliance , market communication formats , and utility service automation Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills across multidisciplinary teams Requirements SAP IS-U, Meter-to-Cash, Device Management, Billing & Invoicing, FICA, AMI Integration, S/4HANA Utilities, Utility Compliance, Customer Service, GIS Connectivity Benefits Digitize energy and utility operations for smart cities and infrastructure Work remotely with cutting-edge tools and ambitious innovation teams Build scalable platforms for public and private utility systems Help shape how sustainable utility services are delivered across India and beyond
