We are hiring a Salesforce Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Consultant to bring a skillset for analytical problem-solving. The Salesforce QA Consultant will be able to serve various project teams in multiple capacities. As a Consultant, you will work with client and project teams to build Salesforce solutions leveraging best practices and standards. Location: Remote, working hours are based on the US Central Time Zone. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.). Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system quality and stability. Validate custom Salesforce configurations (flows, validation rules, workflows, Apex, Lightning components) against business requirements. Collaborate with developers, administrators, product owners, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage. Identify, document, and track defects and issues using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps, and support resolution through retesting. Execute API and integration testing between Salesforce and external systems. Develop and maintain test data and test environments to support repeatable and reliable testing. Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement. Ensure data integrity and security compliance across Salesforce environments. Support release validation and deployment activities , including smoke testing and post-deployment verification. Create and maintain test documentation and QA metrics (test results, defect trends, coverage reports.) Advocate for best practices in QA and test automation , including use of tools like Selenium, Provar, or Copado Lead test strategy and QA planning for large-scale Salesforce implementations. Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks. Mentor junior QA team members and promote QA standards. Partner with DevOps teams to integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines. Required Qualifications: BA/BS degree or equivalent. Minimum of 3+ years of Salesforce experience. Salesforce certification(s) (i.e. Admin, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and/or Community Cloud Consultant). Experience with all phases of software development lifecycle from discovery to release to hypercare and maintenance. Experience with Agile development methodology (e.g. Scrum). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 3+ years of test script development and deployment using manual and automated tooling.
