Role Overview We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to lead our MySQL-related service sales. In this role, you will identify opportunities, engage with decision-makers, and sell database development, migration, and optimization solutions to enterprises and startups across the globe. This is a technical sales role, so the ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of relational databases and how they drive business performance. Key Responsibilities Prospect and qualify new leads for MySQL development, support, or consulting services. Pitch and sell tailored database solutions based on client needs (e.g., performance tuning, architecture design, cloud migration). Work closely with the technical team to create proposals, pricing models, and proof of concepts. Manage a full sales cycle: from lead generation to closing and onboarding. Maintain an organized sales pipeline via CRM tools and provide regular reporting. Stay up to date on MySQL trends, database tools, cloud platforms (AWS RDS, Azure, GCP), and competitor offerings. Build strong, trust-based relationships with technical and business stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of B2B sales experience , preferably in software or IT services. Familiarity with MySQL and relational database concepts (indexes, queries, performance tuning, replication, etc.). Ability to understand and communicate database-driven business solutions. Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills. Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce). Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience selling database consulting, cloud migration, or managed services. Understanding of database security, backups, and disaster recovery strategies. Exposure to PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other DB platforms is a plus.
