Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Representative to lead business development for our MongoDB-related services . In this role, you'll work with startups, SMBs, and enterprise clients to promote database modernization, NoSQL implementation, and cloud-native application development using MongoDB . You’ll bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions—making MongoDB approachable, relevant, and valuable to potential clients. Key Responsibilities Identify and close new business opportunities related to MongoDB development, migration, or consulting. Pitch and position Pentoz’s capabilities in NoSQL databases, including custom development, optimization, and cloud integration using MongoDB. Collaborate with solution architects and engineers to prepare technical proposals and solutions. Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, presentation, negotiation, and closing. Use CRM tools to track pipeline activity, forecast revenue, and report KPIs. Maintain awareness of MongoDB trends, performance optimization techniques, and use cases in various industries. Build long-term client relationships and identify growth opportunities. Requirements 3+ years of experience in B2B tech or IT sales, preferably in database or backend services. Understanding of MongoDB , NoSQL databases, and cloud data architectures. Ability to communicate database concepts (scalability, sharding, performance, schema design) to non-technical stakeholders. Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho. Comfortable working independently in a fully remote role. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience selling MongoDB or NoSQL development, cloud migration, or data consulting services. Familiarity with backend stacks (Node.js, Python, Java) and microservices. Experience working with clients in fintech, e-commerce, healthtech, or SaaS.
