Role Overview
As the Sales | Strategic Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth within the premium and luxury travel sector. This position combines strategic planning with hands-on relationship management to expand market presence, secure new business opportunities, and strengthen partnerships across the travel industry.
The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of luxury travel, strong business development expertise, and a proven ability to cultivate long-term client relationships while exceeding revenue targets in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Execution
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives and brand values.
- Prioritize initiatives that support long-term business expansion and revenue growth.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with luxury travel agencies, consortia, key accounts, and industry stakeholders.
- Foster long-term client loyalty through consistent engagement and strategic support.
Market Expansion
- Identify emerging market trends and new business opportunities within the premium and luxury travel industry.
- Utilize market insights and data analysis to guide sales and business development strategies.
Performance & Revenue Growth
- Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
- Establish performance goals, monitor KPIs, and consistently exceed sales targets.
Brand Representation
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
- Promote premium and luxury travel offerings while strengthening brand presence within the market.
Client Acquisition & Proposal Development
- Lead targeted outreach efforts to secure high-value clients and strategic partnerships.
- Develop customized proposals and presentations tailored to client needs and business objectives.
Partnership Development
- Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships with travel agencies, luxury brands, and corporate clients.
- Collaborate with partners to drive mutual business growth and market visibility.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to align business initiatives with company objectives.
- Support a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Reporting & Analysis
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline growth, market trends, and performance metrics.
- Use reporting and analytics to optimize business development strategies and improve results.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or related field required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the luxury travel, hospitality, or related industry.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, securing new business, and managing strategic accounts.
- Experience working with consortia, luxury hotels, or premium travel products strongly preferred.
