The Opportunity With the support of the regional Commercial Director, Managing Director and subject matter experts, the Sales Manager is responsible for guiding the client development process from start to finish, focusing on developing new customer relationships in a sales process that can last anywhere from weeks to months. Included in the sales activities are lead generation activities (outbound, conferences and other industry events), inbound management and qualification. The sales manager is responsible for achieving the sales budget for the assigned territory or vertical. What You’ll Do The Sales Manager is responsible for executing the territory sales strategy to win business with new clients. Lead Generation and Development Supporting and enabling outbound leads in coordination with marketing initiatives and through relationship management Manage the inbound lead queue Qualify leads Conduct customer meetings and workshops Attend or create corporate events, conferences and exhibitions as required Build strong relationships with key partners technology partners in conjunction with the Partner Manager Nurturing & Progression Manage client relationships and be the focal point of the relationship with Vaimo Manage commercial responses and coordinate the RFI / RFP process Support and coordinate complex sales processes Interact and coordinate specialist contributors (Project managers, Solution architects, UX Designers etc) to ensure clients get a holistic understanding of the Vaimo business Conversion & Closing Coordinate contractual negotiations with legal teams Manage commercial discussions and agreements Document agreements Support a smooth hand-off from the pre-sales to the implementation teams and maintain a strong client relationship to ensure a strong first year of the relationship What You Bring: You are a native Dutch speaker Several years of relevant experience in digital (commerce) agency or platform sales Develop a pipeline through outreach and relationship building with business development and your personal network Building professional relationships Experience contributing in leading a complex sales-process with a diverse group of customer stakeholders and decision makers Strong communication skills both orally and in writing Experience supporting the sales process from plan to close Ability to prioritise, multitask, lead and delegate Strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines Strong digital strategy , experience and market knowledge Presentation skills Negotiation skills Good to have: Documented experience in Sales execution Documented experience in complex service sales ideally within the agency territory or Commerce platform sales Ability to work side-by-side with key technology partners Solid understanding and experience of sales of Commerce and Digital Transformation projects Why Join Vaimo?
