We are looking for an experienced and driven
Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team within our Commercial Sales division.

Location: Remote-based, supporting clients in North of England
Hours: 36.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
Salary: up to £45,000 - £50,000 per annum plus bonus
This is a pivotal leadership role where you will drive new business growth, build strategic employer partnerships, and play a key role in achieving ambitious expansion targets. You'll lead from the front-coaching, motivating, and empowering a remote team of Business Development Managers to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and inspire a remote team of Business Development Managers to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive new business and increase employer partnerships
- Translate business goals and growth strategies into clear, actionable plans for your team
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure consistent and effective lead generation campaigns
- Monitor performance through KPIs, using data and CRM systems to drive decision-making
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, fostering a high-performance culture
- Conduct regular 1:1s, team meetings, and performance reviews (including managing underperformance)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and key clients
- Identify opportunities to enhance sales performance through initiatives, incentives, and campaigns
- Promote apprenticeship opportunities by demonstrating ROI and levy benefits to employers
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and internal policies, including safeguarding responsibilities
What We're Looking For:
Experience
- Proven experience in B2B and/or B2C sales environments
- Strong background in leading and managing high-performing sales teams (ideally remote)
- Experience in selling training, education, or apprenticeship programmes (desirable)
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines and generate leads
