DCX is seeking a detail-oriented Home-Based Revenue & JIB Accounting Specialist to support a growing U.S.-based energy company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced accounting environment, enjoys working with complex financial data, and has a strong understanding of revenue distributions, owner payments, and joint venture accounting. If you have a background in oil & gas accounting and enjoy solving financial discrepancies while maintaining accuracy and compliance, we'd love to hear from you. 🎯 What You'll Do Revenue Accounting Process and reconcile monthly revenue distributions Prepare and review owner statements and revenue payments Analyze revenue transactions and investigate discrepancies Maintain accurate revenue accounting records and supporting documentation Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies Joint Interest Billing (JIB) Prepare and process JIB invoices and statements Review joint venture expenses and cost allocations Reconcile JIB balances and resolve partner inquiries Coordinate with operators, working interest owners, and internal teams Ensure timely and accurate billing and collections Financial Analysis & Reporting Perform account reconciliations and month-end close activities Prepare reports supporting management decision-making Assist with audits and regulatory reporting requirements Maintain audit-ready documentation and controls Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation 🧠 What We're Looking For ✔ Strong understanding of Revenue Accounting and JIB processes ✔ Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills ✔ Ability to investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies ✔ Strong organizational and time management abilities ✔ Excellent written and verbal English communication skills ✔ Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams 🎓 Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Experience: 3+ years of Revenue Accounting, JIB Accounting, or Oil & Gas Accounting experience Experience with owner distributions, revenue processing, and joint venture accounting Experience supporting month-end close and account reconciliations Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas) EnergyLink OGSYS Aries Similar upstream oil & gas accounting systems Preferred Qualifications: Oil & Gas industry experience Experience with JIB billing systems Knowledge of revenue distribution processes Experience working with U.S.-based accounting operations 📍 Role Details 💼 Position: Home-Based Revenue & JIB Accounting Specialist 🏠 Work Setup: Permanent Work-From-Home 🕗 Schedule: U.S. Business Hours 📅 Workdays: Monday – Friday 🌱 Why Join DCX?
