About the Role

As a Property Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of approximately 100–125 residential rental properties, including single-family homes, townhomes, and condominiums.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for property owners and tenants, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, timely communication, and effective resolution of maintenance and property-related issues.

This is a client-facing role focused on customer service, communication, and property operations. It does not include direct staff management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of a residential property portfolio.
• Communicate professionally with property owners, tenants, vendors, and internal departments.
• Respond promptly to emails, phone calls, and service requests.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair work through AppFolio and approved vendors.
• Review and approve maintenance invoices.
• Monitor work orders to ensure timely completion and quality service.
• Oversee vacant property turnover, including cleaning and maintenance coordination.
• Handle lease renewals, move-outs, and security deposit reimbursements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable property requirements and certifications.
• Help maintain positive owner and tenant relationships through excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic understanding of residential maintenance issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• Experience with AppFolio or other property management software is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
