Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist. The specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing EHS policies, evaluating occupational health and workplace safety conditions, providing safety training to employees, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory safety and health guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, monitoring safety protocols, and collaborating with teams to enhance health and environmental safety programs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), including regulatory compliance and standards.
• Strong expertise in Occupational Health and Workplace Safety, including risk assessments and hazard management.
• Proficiency in delivering Safety Training to diverse teams and creating accessible safety documentation.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to manage remote collaboration and cross-functional teamwork.
• Certifications such as OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent qualifications are highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field.
• Experience in maritime or industrial sectors is a plus.
