We are seeking a highly driven, disciplined, and commercially focused Regional Sales Lead – East Africa to spearhead growth across Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania . This is a leadership opportunity for a results-oriented individual who understands sales, accountability, and team building. Role Overview As the Regional Sales Lead – East Africa , you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, establishing commercial traction, recruiting and supervising sales representatives, and ensuring measurable business performance across the East African region. This is a fully remote role requiring professionalism, discipline, responsiveness, and measurable execution. Countries of Responsibility Uganda Kenya Tanzania Key ResponsibilitiesRegional Revenue Growth Drive East Africa Buzz commercial growth across East Africa Independently generate verified revenue and deposits Build commercial momentum and regional traction Ensure measurable monthly sales performance Sales Team Recruitment & Leadership Recruit and supervise Growth Sales Executives Build and manage regional sales structure Monitor weekly performance and accountability Replace underperforming team members where necessary Client Acquisition Acquire new paying clients for Buzz services Support onboarding of new clients Help businesses, creators, agencies, and entrepreneurs understand Buzz services Drive client retention and repeat orders Pipeline & Commercial Management Monitor outreach and sales activities Ensure proper follow-up with prospective clients Maintain healthy regional sales momentum Submit weekly performance reports Working Schedule Monday – Friday Only 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM (East Africa Time) This is a remote role. Official working hours may include: Client phone calls WhatsApp communication Client onboarding support Internal coordination Sales reporting Compensation StructureMonthly Retainer UGX 550,000 monthly retainer Facilitation Support (Month 1–2 Only) UGX 140,000 monthly facilitation Purpose includes: Internet expenses Communication expenses Business coordination Month 1 – Commercial Foundation Requirement Your first month shall serve as a Commercial Foundation Period . As Regional Sales Lead, you are expected to establish commercial traction before scaling operations through recruitment of Growth Sales Executives . The objective is for leadership to be demonstrated through execution. Minimum Month 1 Requirement You are required to independently generate: UGX 2,800,000 – UGX 5,600,000 minimum verified revenue/deposits before building further sales scale. A verified sale means: Client successfully deposits or makes payment through official East Africa Buzz channels; and Payment is successfully received. The following shall not count as performance: Leads Conversations Expressions of interest Verbal commitments Month 2 – Revenue Validation & Team Expansion Beginning Month 2, you shall be expected to: Build regional sales structure Recruit and supervise Growth Sales Executives Demonstrate measurable team performance Generate consistent regional revenue Minimum Expected Verified Regional Revenue UGX 14,000,000 monthly verified revenue Failure to demonstrate measurable execution within two (2) consecutive months may result in discontinuation of appointment. Retainer Growth Structure Retainer shall increase based on verified monthly regional revenue received: Below UGX 2,800,000 → UGX 550,000 UGX 2,800,000 – UGX 8,300,000 → UGX 970,000 UGX 8,400,000 – UGX 19,400,000 → UGX 1,400,000 UGX 19,500,000 – UGX 27,800,000 → UGX 2,100,000 UGX 28,000,000+ → UGX 2,800,000+ Commission Structure In addition to retainer: 10% commission on collective verified regional revenue (Personal + Team Revenue) Commission is payable only upon: Verified revenue received through East Africa Buzz official payment channels. Requirements Strong communication and persuasion skills Experience in sales, digital sales, business development, or customer acquisition Ability to work independently and remotely Strong leadership and accountability skills High discipline and performance mindset Comfortable using WhatsApp, email, spreadsheets, and online tools Fluent English communication Must be based in Uganda Important Note This is a performance-driven leadership role .
