ABOUT THE ROLE
Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Entry-Level Records Management Specialist. This role focuses on organizing, maintaining, reviewing, and managing company records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficient business operations.

The Records Management Specialist will work closely with internal teams to maintain documentation, update records, support compliance efforts, and improve recordkeeping processes.

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience, organizational skills, and client hiring needs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Organize, maintain, and manage company records and documentation
- Review records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Update databases and recordkeeping systems
- Process, archive, and retrieve documents as needed
- Maintain digital filing systems and document repositories
- Assist with record retention and compliance procedures
- Support audits and documentation requests
- Track records-related activities and maintain logs
- Identify and correct record discrepancies
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Collaborate with internal teams regarding documentation needs
- Help improve records management processes and efficiency
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- 0–2 years of experience in administration, customer service, data entry, or support roles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Professional, dependable, and results-oriented mindset
