Role Description This is a full-time, remote-first Quality Assurance Automation Engineer role. The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web, mobile, and distributed applications across multiple technology stacks. The engineer will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, identify risks, and prevent defects early in the process. Day-to-day responsibilities also include analyzing test results, reporting and tracking defects, contributing to continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and proposing improvements to testing processes and tools. Hands-on experience designing, documenting, and maintaining Test Cases for functional, regression, and integration testing. Proficiency in Manual Testing, including exploratory testing and validation of complex user flows and edge cases. Practical experience with QA Automation, including building and maintaining automated UI, API, and integration tests with modern frameworks and tools. Experience working in Agile environments, collaborating closely with cross-functional development teams. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git) to integrate automated tests into build pipelines. Basic programming or scripting skills (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript or .NET/C#) to create and extend automated test suites. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly in English with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
