QA | Fintech & Payments

We're looking for a hands-on QA to own quality across our web-based fintech platform and payment processing APIs. You'll define testing strategy, and work closely with engineers and product managers to ship reliable, secure financial software. This is a fully remote role.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end QA strategy for web and API products, functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Design and maintain test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices aligned with payment compliance requirements.
• Build and scale API test suites using Postman and automate end-to-end web flows using Selenium and Playwright.
• Collaborate within Agile sprints, participate in grooming, raise quality risks early, and define acceptance criteria.
• Own defect management: triage bugs, track severity, and drive resolution with engineering teams.
• Define and track quality KPIs: defect escape rate, test coverage, execution velocity, and mean time to detect.

What You Bring

Required:

• 3–5 years of QA experience, including at least 1 year in a lead or senior role.
• Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing (REST/GraphQL) and Selenium and/or Playwright for web automation.
• Solid experience testing web/SaaS applications, frontend workflows, session management, and state transitions.
• TypeScript proficiency for writing and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Familiarity with fintech or payments, payment gateways, transaction flows, reconciliation, or fraud detection.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams using Notion or similar tools.
• Strong written and spoken English for async remote collaboration.

Nice to Have:

• Performance/load testing experience (k6, JMeter, Gatling).
• PCI-DSS compliance testing awareness.
• Security testing basics (OWASP Top 10).
• Prior startup or scale-up fintech experience.
