Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Psychiatrist. The Psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, formulate diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing medication management, delivering evidence-based psychopharmacologic and brief therapeutic interventions, and monitoring treatment response and safety. The Psychiatrist will collaborate with other mental health professionals, communicate with primary care and specialty providers as needed, and maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record. Additional tasks may include participating in case consultations, contributing to quality improvement efforts, and adhering to all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards in a remote care setting. Qualifications Strong foundation in Medicine and Psychiatry, with the ability to integrate medical and psychiatric considerations in patient care. Demonstrated experience in Psychiatric Care and Mental Health, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management. Clinical expertise or significant interest in Adolescent Psychiatry, with skills in engaging young people and their caregivers when appropriate. Active, unrestricted medical license (and DEA registration where required) in the relevant jurisdiction(s) for remote practice. Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry. Experience delivering care via telepsychiatry or willingness to learn best practices for remote mental health services. Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to culturally responsive and trauma-informed care. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
