Role Summary This customer-facing role coordinates telecom service orders and circuit implementations across multiple technologies. Success requires strong knowledge of telecom service types (DIA, broadband, POTS, SIP, wireless, transport types) and a proactive, execution-driven approach to driving timelines, vendors, and making informed decisions on the client’s behalf. Essential Functions Manage day-to-day telecom service ordering and provisioning multiple service types in a large-scale environment. Operate as a trusted extension of the client’s team, applying project management discipline and technical expertise to drive timelines, communication, documentation, and vendor coordination. Serve as the primary escalation and issue-resolution owner, ensuring accountability across clients, carriers, and vendors. Assess network standards and circuit diversity requirements, functioning as the technical gatekeeper for incoming service requests. Maintain accuracy across large datasets, application databases, and carrier portals. Lead vendor engagement, proactively escalate delays, and remove obstacles to keep projects on schedule. Make informed, fact-based decisions on the client’s behalf using deep telecom and circuit expertise, including evaluating service suitability, realistic delivery timelines, and vendor performance patterns. Continuously refine processes and project methodologies to enhance efficiency, delivery outcomes, and customer experience. Technical & Functional Qualifications Telecom & Network Expertise Strong understanding of access technologies: DIA, Ethernet, Broadband, MPLS, SD-WAN, LTE/5G, transport types, and last-mile architectures. Knowledge of telecom offerings including voice, data, and unified communications, with an ability to differentiate service types. Carrier Documentation & Provisioning Ability to interpret quotes, LOAs, contracts, network diagrams, fiber requirements, and service details. Experience with provisioning workflows (FOC validation, ASR/LSR, demarc extensions, activation best practices). Proficient in evaluating telecom quotes and rate structures, leveraging benchmarking to surface anomalies or risks. Networking Fundamentals Working knowledge of subnets, routing, DHCP, DNS, SIP trunking, and QoS concepts. Operational Tools & Systems Proficiency in carrier OSS/BSS portals for order entry, monitoring, ticketing, and escalation. Experience with MACD lifecycle workflows and troubleshooting coordination (loopback/turn-up testing, issue identification). Organizational & Communication Skills Strong communication skills with presence and professionalism, including with client leadership. Ability to escalate effectively and drive accountability with partner and non-partner vendors. Experience facilitating implementation plans, installs, and disconnects. Advanced competency with productivity and automation tools (Excel, Power Automate, Smartsheet). Tenacious, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to operate independently. Position Details Location: While this is a remote position, it is preferred the candidate live in the greater Dallas metropolitan area to allow for on-site time with the primary client. Schedule: Core hours aligned to CST with some flexibility.
