You will collaborate with experienced engineering and project teams, gain exposure to solar system design processes, and play a key role in coordinating technical project activities. Our client is a dynamic startup operating in the solar energy consultancy sector within the United States. They streamline the installation process of solar panels on private properties by removing administrative, supply chain, and regulatory obstacles. By leveraging deep industry expertise, they support construction companies in accelerating solar installation projects and delivering them efficiently. They are currently looking for a Project Coordinator with an Electrical Engineering background to work closely with their solar design and engineering teams and support the coordination of technical project activities. Key Responsibilities Design Team Coordination • Work closely with the solar design and engineering teams to support the development of solar panel system designs. • Assist in coordinating design workflows and ensuring technical documentation is organized and up to date. • Facilitate communication between design engineers, project managers, and other internal teams. Project Coordination • Assist in planning, tracking, and coordinating solar installation projects from design through execution. • Help ensure project milestones are met according to schedule and project requirements. • Support cross-functional collaboration between engineering, operations, and external stakeholders. Stakeholder Communication • Coordinate communication between internal teams, clients, suppliers, and project partners. • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of project updates and technical information. • Act as a point of contact for project-related coordination and inquiries. Data Management and Reporting • Utilize Microsoft Excel and internal tools to track project progress and maintain project records. • Support reporting on project timelines, deliverables, and design updates. • Maintain accurate documentation of project and engineering data. Process Improvement • Identify opportunities to improve coordination between engineering and project teams. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project workflows and design coordination processes. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. • Basic understanding of solar energy systems or electrical design concepts is preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. • Previous experience in project coordination, engineering support, or customer service is a plus. • Fluent in English (both written and spoken). • Strong organizational and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proactive and collaborative mindset when working with engineering and project teams.
